Photography and film that make a place feel worth travelling for, rather than simply documenting that it exists.
A booking is a decision made in about four seconds, on a phone, from a photograph. That photograph is doing more work than any description underneath it.
I photograph country houses, holiday lets, hotels, restaurants and interiors across the Cotswolds and the surrounding counties. The work covers estate agency and marketing photography, full property films, and the food and detail imagery that hospitality businesses need for their own channels.
Having worked in luxury hospitality myself, I know the difference between a room that has been photographed and a room that has been understood. Where the morning light lands. Which corner makes the space feel generous rather than staged. What a guest actually wants to know before they book.
Shoots are planned around the light rather than the diary, which usually means an early start and a late finish rather than a convenient midday slot. It is the single biggest factor in whether a property looks expensive or ordinary.
Every room that earns its place, shot to feel spacious and warm rather than wide-angled into distortion.
Context that ground-level cannot give — the setting, the grounds, the position in the landscape.
A short film that walks a guest or buyer through the space, for listings, websites and social.
For hotels, inns and restaurants — plated dishes, bar detail, the things that sell a stay as much as the bedrooms do.
A short list of what to move, clear, open and light before I arrive. It costs you nothing and changes everything.
Edited images within a week as standard, and quicker when a listing is waiting on them.

A holiday let or family house is usually half a day. A larger estate, a hotel, or anything involving both photography and film is a full day. I would rather spend longer and catch the right light than rush a room.
I will send a short preparation list a few days ahead — surfaces cleared, beds properly made, bins and cars out of shot, lights working. Twenty minutes of preparation is worth more than an hour of retouching.
Often, yes. Tell me the deadline when you enquire and I will be straight with you about whether it is achievable.
Yes, where the location and airspace allow. Aerial shots are particularly valuable for anything with grounds, a setting, or a position that ground-level photography cannot convey.
