Quiet, unhurried coverage of the day as it actually happens — and a film you will still be watching in twenty years.
The best wedding photographs are not the ones people posed for. They are the ones nobody noticed being taken.
I photograph and film weddings across the Cotswolds, Oxford and the surrounding counties — village churches, honey-stone manor houses, candlelit libraries and back gardens. Some days are three hundred guests and a marquee. Some are two people and a registrar. Both get the same attention.
Before photography I spent years in luxury hospitality, starting at The Dorchester in London. That work teaches you to read a room, to stay calm when the schedule slips, and to be present without ever being in the way. It is why couples tell me afterwards that I felt more like a guest than a supplier — and why the pictures look like nobody was watching.
Photography and film are shot together, by design. You get stills that hold up on a wall and a film that carries the sound of the day — the speech that broke everyone, the church bells, your mother laughing off-camera. Neither is an afterthought bolted onto the other.
From getting ready through to the dancefloor, with no clock-watching in between. Shorter coverage available for elopements and small ceremonies.
Both disciplines from one person who has already walked your venue and knows where the light goes at six o'clock.
Cut to the sound of your day rather than to a stock track. Highlight film as standard, full ceremony and speeches on request.
Licensed drone work where the venue and conditions allow it — the estate, the church, the countryside your day sits in.
We talk through the day properly before it happens: the schedule, the people who matter, the moments you would be upset to lose.
A private online gallery of edited images, with high-resolution downloads and print rights. Films delivered in full quality plus social cuts.
Not a gallery link next month. A framed photograph, taken that afternoon, given out before your guests leave.
After the ceremony and through the reception, I bring families and groups together with you — the people who travelled, the ones who haven’t been in the same room for years. A couple of minutes each, arranged as we go. It happens inside the day rather than alongside it, so nobody is pulled away and nothing feels staged.
Those photographs are printed at lab quality while you’re at lunch, framed, and handed over before the evening begins.
Your grandmother leaves with a picture of herself and you, taken two hours earlier, ready for the wall. The cousins who flew in get one of the four of them together. Nobody has to remember to ask, and nobody has to wait.
It is the only photograph from your wedding that is hanging on somebody else’s wall by Sunday.

Yes — and I would encourage it. Either discipline on its own is £2,250; both together are £3,850, so you save £650 and get one person covering your day rather than two suppliers negotiating the same corner of a room. It also means the stills and the film share a look, because the same eye made both.
Anywhere in the Cotswolds, Oxford, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire as standard, and further afield by arrangement. Recent work includes the Bodleian Library, Duke Humphrey's Library, Notley Abbey, Bledington Church, Swinbrook and The Feathered Nest Inn.
A preview set of images within a week, so you have something to share while the day is still fresh. The full gallery follows within four to six weeks, and films within eight, depending on the time of year.
It rains. We shoot anyway. Overcast light is genuinely kinder to faces than bright sun, and a wet Cotswold churchyard photographs beautifully. I carry umbrellas and I will never make you stand in a downpour for a picture.
Yes. Small ceremonies and elopements are some of my favourite work — fewer people, more time, and far more room for the day to be what you actually want it to be.

Nick blended in with our guests so naturally that we hardly knew he was there.
Sophie & TomNaming ceremony, the Cotswolds · and their wedding in OxfordWe booked Nick as the photographer for our son’s naming ceremony, which we held in our garden. From the moment he arrived, Nick blended in with our guests so naturally that we hardly knew he was there. Yet he captured such wonderful photographs of everyone, as well as the ceremony itself, without anything ever feeling staged or intrusive.
We were so impressed with Nick’s work that we booked him for our wedding in Oxford the following year. Safe to say, he did not disappoint. We received the most incredible set of wedding photographs, capturing all the special moments, emotions and atmosphere of the day beautifully.
Nick is incredibly talented, professional and unobtrusive, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a truly fantastic photographer.
